There are quite a few things that you should not do post-waxing. Don’t exercise straight after waxing. It’s a definite no-no. Post-waxing will cause irritation.

Waxing removes hair from the root. This essentially causes “micro-wounds in the skin. And exercising in the hours following your wax can cause sweat to “transfer bacteria from the skin into these lesions. Once that happens, you’re at risk of developing pimples and folliculitis, in which the hair follicles become infected. Not only can a post-wax workout irritate the hair follicles, but other elements also that stem from exercise—chafing, friction, etc.—can potentially cause ingrown hairs.

So try to wax in the later afternoon allowing your skin time to rest before doing exercise the following day.  This holds true for all types of waxing even eyebrows. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before a super-intense session at the gym.
